First Half

Well, we're about half-way through our visit to California and our days have been jammed-packed with family, friends, and TONS of fun!  Bailey's learning what it's like to NOT be the only kid around and Mommy's learning that lessons in sharing are learned slowly.  We've packed, unpacked, laundried, and re-packed for countless back-to-back overnighters.  We've all hit moments of "overload" and have had to run away (temporarily, of course) for some alone time to re-group and gear up for another onslaught of visitors and activity.  But we are blessed and are enjoying our time with family and friends.  Here are some highlights of what we've been up to these past few weeks:

Making cookies with Granny (Brandon's mom).

A very Perry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Bailey had about five different rounds of Christmas, and LOVED all the shoes she received!

"That's what a hamburger's . . . all about!" First In-N-Out burger, eaten with a fork, in true Paraguayan style!

Trip to the park in Fresno on Christmas Eve.

Cruisin' around the grocery store in Fresno with Grandma and Papa, talking on her imaginary cell phone.

Christmas morning smiles!

Focused on ripping off the wrapping paper.

Yummy Christmas feast!

She wore the monkey on her back all evening!

Relaxing in her car seat on the way home from Fresno.

Abue and Grandma Trevino have the rest of the Sea World pics; this one give you an idea of how "into" the shows she was.  Yeah, she didn't get it.  But she loved the touch tanks and kept asking for "more" when we were in the various aquariums.

Bath time with Brooklyn!

Brooklyn and Bailey on the swings with their daddys!

New Year's Eve party!

At the park with GG, Grandma, and (great) Aunt Denise.

Learning to drive!

More time at the park!

Thank you Lego's for keeping her entertained on the way to Bullhead, Arizona!

Checking out the RV campsite with BJ,

In Oatman visiting the donkeys along old route 66.

Playing dice with herself!

Dressing up her magnetic "paper" dolls with Aunt Denise.

First trip to the library!  She's enrolled in the weekly story time class while we're here!
